If you'd like to know how each wolf is in size compared to each other direct yourself Here for now. Haku is making one with all of our accepted wolf species on it.

The twenty six wolves listed below are the ones that we accept. We are aware a few of them may not be wolves (eg. Dingo) but we accept them as playable "wolves" here. All of their names have (will) been changed so if you want to know our world equivalent of each wolf, look up their scientific names which have remained the same.

Rare Breeds
These wolves will have to have a better history than the other wolves especially the thee thought to be extinct. Each of these will have a limited amount available of each species.
Hokkaido Wolf (thought to be extinct)About the height of 24–32 inches at the shoulder and around 150-155 lbs. They are normally a brown color but range from gray to black as well. |

The smallest wolf breed standing at only 18-20 inches at the shoulder and weighs between 30-50 lbs. They come in grays and browns.[/blockquote][/td][/sup][td][/td][/tr]

Large white wolf with black stripe down spine. Was located only on the island of Newfoundland off the coast of Canada. Larger breed. Last wild one shot 1911.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]

Foxlike in appearance. Largest canid native to South America. Very long legs, red fur, black mane. Can be up to 40 inches high, 44-55 lbs. Does not form packs. Has a very distinct odor. Up to half of its diet is made up of fruits and vegetables.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]

Ethiopian Wolf[/td][td][/td][/tr]
Foxlike or coyote-like in appearance, reddish or brown with white markings and a thin muzzle. Lives in packs but hunts small animals individually. 24-42 lbs.

Stands about 26 inches, about 40 lbs. Lives in small packs of 2-4 through the Middle East. Very large ears, small and thin head, middle toes fused together. Very pale fur.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]

Greyish-brown with red behind the ears. Related to Red Wolves. Tends to be thin and long-legged with thick fur. Native to eastern American/Canadian border.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]

Native to Spain and Portugal, thinner than Eurasian Wolves with distinct black and white markings. Tend to be small and light. 27-47 inches, about 60-80 lbs.[/td][td][/td][/tr]

No taller than 31 inches, 60-82 lbs. Longer ears, shorter tail and stockier head than European wolves. Grey with light brown back and markings in most cases.[/td][td][/td][/tr]

Also called the Iranian Wolf. 18-30 inches at the shoulder, 55-70 lbs. Short, pale fur with no undercoat. Rarely howls. Habitat is in the Middle East.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Caspian Sea Wolf
Extremely rare; lives only in Russia on the border of the Caspian Sea. Subspecies of Grey Wolf. Is a smaller species.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]

Tends toward white or light grey. Is related to the grey wolf; is very shy. About Grey Wolf size. Favored prey is elk and deer. Located only on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]

A separate species of wolf long living in secrecy in India, Kashmir, Mongolia and China. Tends to be grey, and shares no genetic markers with dogs, so it was never used in the domestication of canines. Shares habitat with Indian wolf but doesn't interbreed with them.[/blockquote][/td][td][/td][/tr]

An elusive canid of Egypt and Libya; usually has grey-beige or dirty yellow fur. Largest of the jackals. Only believed to be 30-50 in existence. 30-42 inches.[/blockquote]
