Appearance
Viewing haku as his wolven self you would see a dog-sized canidae, roughly around 25 inches high at the shoulder. His black, gray and brown fur is short not even an inch long as both his breeds were designed for warm weather. Being lower to the ground, it allows him to be more agile than larger wolves. His eyes are a piercing orange color that are easily seen through the dark.
Ordinarily, while warping the minds of humans around him, he can appear as a five-foot six-inch tall seventeen year old with jet black hair and dark brown eyes. His hair looks neatly combed with his bangs fallen over his right eye His skin color is on the pale side, almost white but not that light. He can be seen wearing a tattered old gray jacket and blue jeans.
Personality
Haku is a bit clingy, especially to his sister and beta Rukia, and gets jealous quickly when it comes to his friends hanging around others which makes it hard to stay friends with him, if you manage to become his friend in the first place. He has trust issues, mostly because of his previous alpha that results in him being unconsciously anti-social, not seeing the problem in keeping away from everyone outside of his pack. Yet he longs for attention, not liking to be alone despite saying so, which explains why he is over possessive of his pack. He has slight issues with paranoia, making him think that everyone and everything is out to get him and has a hard time relaxing. This contributes to his contradictory way of thinking and makes it hard for people to be around him even more so, as if one doesn't make mention of where they are going before hand he thinks they are plotting against him.
In terms of D&D he would be classed as chaotic good, he has good intentions for what he does but it's not always the best way to go about doing things. For instance, he finds it fully justified to kill if that person has wronged another instead of putting them in jail. Another example of this is his over protective nature for his sister, as she is chronically ill he thinks it's best to keep others away from her so she doesn't get hurt instead of allowing her to have friends but he does listen to her when she tells him to knock off the threatening.
Haku seems like a delinquent to most people but he's brilliant, just doesn't like doing things he should be. He'd rather have someone else do his work while he goes off and does other things. Don't get him started on alien theories or where wolves came from, he has a ton of ideas that most people wouldn't grasp because of his odd imagination and general insanity. If any one were to actually tolerate him enough to get passed his short temper, impatience and madness they might find him some what pleasant to be around. He can be a very good friend, he just needs to relax once in a while.

History
Born first in a litter of five, Hakumei would have been considered the runt if the second born wasn't smaller than him. Their alpha learned that they were not his, but instead were from a roving Honshu, and cast their mother aside as the omega, though the alpha female of the pack did not allow him to kill the pups. Often, even before the litter was weaned, the alphas would chance their mother away. Wanting a litter of her own the dominate female of the pack took on the pups at eight weeks when their mother was forced away by the pack and killed. At the age of six months Hakumei was showing signs of being dominate, in an attempt to snuff out that way of thinking the alpha male decided it was best to make him the new omega, despite him still being a pup.
At the age of one, the urge to be the leader still was not snuffed out and he challenged the alpha. He was thoroughly beaten by the larger and more skilled male. In the verge of death from the fight, the alpha moved in for the kill but his closest sister, Rukia, moved in the way and took the rest of the older male's attacks, only thing that stopped the alpha from killing her was the fact she was female. The pack moved on, their surrogate mother only lingering for a moment to pity the two before moving on with her pack. As they had been taught, weakness was left behind. The two kept together as their wounds healed. It was a full week later, while on a hunt, when the two came across their larger sister, Aisa. Unlike how they were left by the pack, she had left them to seek a mate and was still on rather good terms with the Alphas. Over the next two months Hakumei preformed well as the small three-wolf pack's alpha until they came across their old pack once more.
The alpha male was furious at the fact that Hakumei and Rukia were still on his territory. Hakumei challenged the larger wolf once more, using speed to his advantage unlike the first time around. He received heavy wounds but in the end, Haku got the kill. Devastated at the loss of her mate the alpha female lashed out, aiming to attack Hakumei. Rukia made short work of the unseasoned fighter, sending her running with her tail tucked. The old pack disbanded, not wanting a former omega to lead them. That act concerned the armature alpha, causing him to question if his sisters were staying due to loyalty or the fact that either of them could eaisly overtake him. A few hesitant but reassuring words from Rukia set that doubt aside.
The small pack traveled through the woods of Nippon as their wounds healed from the fight that dictated who owned the land. While resting in an open field a pure black wolf appeared, the wolf was old and looked to be on his last leg yet his eyes said his spirit was still young. He beckoned to the alpha who was hesitant at first but told his pack to wait and fallowed the old wolf. The wolf lead him for a bit before settling under an old willow that was showing it's age as much as the he was. At first he didn't say much, only asking a few questions about legends and how Haku planned on running his pack. But suddenly his demeanor changed, as if the young alpha didn't have the right answers.
The old wolf silenced Hakumei before explaining everything he should have been taught as a pup. Telling him of the legends every wolf should know, about the lunar flower, paradise and even the Noble Wolves. After he had explained everything he allowed Hakumei to ask questions. But the session was interrupted. Some migrant humans had spotted them, the old wolf told him to run. He did not like the order but he fallowed it as the hunters rose their guns and started to fire at the two. The older wolf stayed behind to distract the hunters, though it didn't take long for the humans to take care of the old wolf and they set their sights on Hakumei. He lead the humans away from his pack, leading them on a 'wild goose chase' as one would call it. They never caught sight of him once the forest thickened.
After several hours Haku returned to his pack. He told them they had to leave that moment and lead them toward the coast. In the few times they stopped to rest he explained to his sisters a little bit about what had happened with the old wolf. Telling them that the old one was their sire. He lead his pack onto a cargo train that was traveling over the sea to the mainlands of Xing, fallowing the scent of the Moon Flower. Thought the scent was faint, he knew it was somewhere and all they could do was track until they found it. There was nothing left to do but roam Xing as the only formed pack that was still wild and not masquerading as humans.
And that is where this story begins. The pilgrimage of the Xing pack and their alpha's quest to find the lunar flower and paradise.
