The abandoned prince of Asgard was certain he would succeed, was certain nothing could or would stop him in his path of glory, in his path of ruling. Determination sparked and flowed through him, He was unwilling to give up and was absolute certain he would win. Certain nothing would stop him nor stand in his way of what he desired, his desire to be king, to force subjugation and make others beneath bow down to him. Loki Laufeyson hit Midgard with a force no one expected, and he came with backup that no one was anticipating, however, unknown to Loki himself, Midgard had plans in place for such action, and upon the uproar of his arrival and destruction. S.H.I.E.L.D stepped up to the plate activating the Avengers Initiative and sent them the unique and gifted people after the Tesseract wielding frost giant, to take him down and out. And after much destruction, and near losses, The Avengers were victorious and Thor took Loki back to Asgard where he would be imprisoned so he would never harm anyone else again or attempt to take over a world.....or so they thought. AFTER THE ATTACK . After Loki unleashed his destruction on Midgard it took the people who called the planet home years to rebuild both the world around them as well as their emotions due to the hell on earth they had witnessed and the trauma they had been emotionally put through by the loss of loved ones, and personal possessions. Even after a year not everything is back to how it should be for some, despite governmental help and funding some resources are still unavailable and some buildings still stand in ruin of what they once were, speaking ghostly stories to remind those alive what happened. IT STRIKES TWICE . For those who say lightening won't strike twice they are wrong. anything is possible, even the impossible. Loki the one who had caused so much destruction to Midgard has escaped from his dungeon prison in Asgard right from under his brother's nose and the army's watchful eyes, and now he has once again with determination he has set his sights on ruling once again. But will he succeed this time, or will he fail as before? |
